Q: looking for confirmation on theory about canine saliva

I don't have a question but I'd like to see/understand the science behind a recent experience I've had with my puppy. I had pretty severe acne problems for years; however, after I got a new puppy, I was laying on my back when she came over to me, to cover my entire face in "kisses". I felt her love -- making me fall asleep. The next morning, I shower, and drying off, notice my face was completely clear of all acne: pimples, blackheads, whiteheads, etc. Is this an un-paralleled occurence?
