Q: some questions

I have a rose hair and got him in early febuary....he ate about 3 to 4 large crickets a day. He was stayin at my ex bf's house....when i moved him to my house two weeks ago and he stopped eating. then just recently he started losing hair on his abdomen..in the back....he's still pretty active when i nugde him on my hand....and very active at night walking fast around the side of his cage. I was just wondering if something was wrong or if he's just gettin ready to molt. he hasn't done that yet as long as i have had him.

Sounds like it may be gettingr eady to moult. Just lave it alone to do it's thing. If the bald patch on it's abdoman turns black then you can guareente on it moulting.

Hi,
I have noticed you have used the word "he" a lot, and a couple of things in your post make me think that you could actually have a mature male tarantula, does your tarantula look stocky or does it have rather long thin legs?, also do the feet of the 2 front short legs (pedipalps) look the same as all the other feet or do they resemble boxing gloves? also if you look carefully on the front set of legs if you look at them sideways on do they have what looks like a little hook underneath?
