Q: large bumps on dog head
I have 2 outdoor male beagle mix dog approximately 3 years of age. They are together and chained so they cannot tangle but share the same house. One of them, Simon has two hard, yet somewhat oozing bumps on his head. I noticed the first 3 days ago..today I was brushing him and the one on his forehead opened somewhat...the hair was loose and came off and revealed a large red bump with no visible sign of animal bite or flea bite or infestation, I cleaned and disinfected of vourse..but see nothing to cause this. I have many animals and do not have the funds to take him to a vet....I try to treat them at home if possible and have been successful thus far. I ahve a lot of strays and am on limited income...any help would be appreciated. Thank you. P.S. no visible signs of ticks, but I havenever had an animal have one.
