Q: fibyro sepro rhinitis
My dog has had a bad inflammation and infection in his nose which was diagnosed through a biopsy. Now he is on Predisone and an anithistamine. Should he be on a anitbiotic as well would the steriod make him tired?

If there is a bacterial infection then certainly he should be on antibiotics. The antihistamines will make him sleepy. Call your vet back and ask him/her these questions. It's what they are there for. He/she should have explained all of this to you when you picked him up. Denise
