6. I've heard I need a brooder, how do I make one
7. How many times should I flip the eggs a day (ive heard different answers

*Most duck eggs hatch between 28 to 33 days.

> 2. How long does it take the ducks to dry off
*It only takes a few hours usually for them to be dry. They can be kept in the incubator for a bit if they are very wet.

> 3. what is candeling
*Candleing is when you put a bright light up to the egg or flashlight and see through looking for a fertile egg.

*I just put the eggs in the incubator. I always use the cleanest eggs.

*Most eggs require a temp of 99

> 6. I've heard I need a brooder, how do I make one
*Most use a cardboard box and hang the light in a corner. It's the cheapest way. You can build a box out of wood also. Use extreme caution that the light is hanging securely and safely away from the sides of the box.

*2 to 3 times a day is good. Put an X on one side of the egg with a pencil and an O on the other. That way you will know you turned them all each time.

*Do lots of research. Visit sites on raising ducks, read books, until you are sure you feel comfortable enough to hatch and raise them.
