Mach 1 mustangs came with a simple red beltline stripe in 69. SS Camaros had the "hockey stick" stripe similar to Chevelle SSmodels. they were only available in black or white. I have a red 68 in red with the black. mine is a 350/295 horse. I also have a 701/2 Z28 in yellow with black stripes and a 360 horse LT1 350.

I didnt know we were being year specific or anything....I was refering to the 1970 Mach 1 colors. I almost bought one last year, but changed my mind, and decided to look for something else...Anyway, like I said in my one post, Im sure there are other colors for the Camaro that I didnt mention....Do you have any other cars? I have a 1971 Dodge Dart, with a 360 bored .30 over with a Holly 4bbl carb, and tons of other stuff, too much to list. Without NOS it will run low 9's in a quarter mile. Hopefully next week I will have the Camaro in my garage, get it added to the collection, ya know?

It ran low 11s all day on BF Goodrich radial TAs through mufflers, without juice. I have a 87 Buick Grand National that runs 9s with the turbo V6. that is my drag car I use here in the summer. The Z28 will be my driver once I get it done. My other Camaro is the 68 convert.

I WAS thinking of the right color then....that's what I thought, because one of my ex-neighbours had one and it was red and white. Nice car it was. See, Rattler, I've gotten more into imports lately, I still appreciate the classics of course, but for now imports are my passion :) I love the gas mileage, not to mention the huge power increases you can get without sacrificing gas mileage. The gas here is pretty expensive, so that can be a real asset. Yes I don't care. My rice rocket kicks ass!!!

I still have a 5.0L Mustang, which is my primary vehicle so don't count me out yet! :) Our mod car is a 2002 Acura RSX. She goes like spit with 4 cylinders a 2.0L engine. Once we kick on the supercharger/turbo she'll outrace our 5.0L easy. Of course, the Acura weighs about as much as me (LOL exaggeration but this car is freakin' so light.)

I still like to take the Mustang out for power-trips. It doesn't handle as nice but it can go when you punch the gas. For an 11 yr old car, the steering is still tight and we still have yet to get the typical Mustang oil leak. What I'd really like is an old Nova....I thought they were so sweet the first time I drove and saw one.

Anyway, just so you know the details of my car experience :)
