Q: FIRE BELLIED TOAD QUESTION
I RECENTLY JUST BOUGHT 2 FIREBELLIED TOADS FROM MY LOCAL PETCO, AND I BOUGHT A HOUSE GECKO, I HAVE A 20 GALLON AQUARIUM AND I WAS WONDERING IF I COULD HOUSE THE GECKO WITH THE FIRE BELLIED TOADS?

No matter what, It is never a good idea to house different types of animals together. The main reason why is because your FBTs secrete a toxic chemical from their skin, and it would likely make your house gecko very sick. Furthermore, house geckos require a heat source, 88 degrees is a good daytime temp, while FBTs perfer cooler temps, and they might even try to eat eachother!!! You should really look into these sort of things before purchasing pets, just to keep them safe, and you happy(no fatalities)
